National Short Story PrizeThe largest award for a single short story in the world. £15,000 for the winning story, £3,000 for the runner-up and £500 for the three other shortlisted stories. The 2007 National Short Story PrizeOnce again, the National Short Story Prize is being funded by the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) and supported by BBC Radio 4 who broadcast the shortlisted stories and Prospect Magazine who will publish the winning entry in May 2007.
