Whitechapel Society short story competition 2009

The Whitechapel Society invite you to take part in their 2nd Short Story Competition 2010. First Prize £100.00

Competition Judge – Brian L. Porter, author of the award winning 'A Study In Red', and its sequel, 'Legacy of the Ripper', and winner of the readers poll for 'The Preditors & Editors Best Author Award, 2009'

Your story must use the following sentence at the start of your entry: 'Everyone called it the double event. Two women on the same night, less than an hour apart, and less than half a mile apart. Things were definitely getting out of control....'

Rules:

The rules are simple and straightforward (no entry form required.)

1) All work must be unpublished.

2) Length: 3,000 words maximum (submissions exceeding this length will be disqualified)

3) Closing date: Saturday 2 October 2010.

4) Entry fee: £5.00 per entry, £7.50 two entries, £10.00 three or more entries
